Post Card Writing for Tim Dummer
Isanti County Indivisible is hosing a postcard writing party for Tim Dummer for MN House 28A at Thunder Brothers Brewery in Isanti. Grab a friend and join them to help elect Tim.
They will have everything you need for the postcards.
Thunder Brothers has $3 drinks on Wednesday’s so enjoy a brew or a seltzer while you write.
Town Hall Meeting with Daniel Colten Schmidt
Bring your family and friends and join Daniel Colten Schmidt for a Town Hall Meeting at the North Branch Library this Saturday. This is a great chance to ask your questions and let Daniel know what issues are most important to you.
This event will be both informative and fun! Pizza will be served and there will be a kids table.
Knocktober Weekend Three
This Saturday, volunteers will be door knocking in 28A with State House candidate Tim Dummer. Meet us in Isanti in the Bluebird Park Parking Lot. Tim will be there will maps, minivan training, scripts, literature and doorkknocking tips.
There will not be centralized phone banking or post card writing this weekend.

Town Hall Meeting with Daniel Colten Schmidt
Join Daniel Colten Schmidt for a Town Hall Meeting on October 14th at the Taylor’s Falls Community Center. This is a great chance to meet Daniel, ask your questions and let him know what issues are most important to you.
There will be pizza and a kid’s table.
Steve Simon Fundraiser!
The SD28 Event Committee is excited to announce a fundraiser for Steve Simon at 5:30 PM on Thursday, October 8th in North Branch Minnesota.
This year’s elections are enormously important and Steve Simon has been our peaceful warrior for democracy. We want to be sure he can continue to protect the integrity of our elections here in Minnesota.
Circle October 8th on your calendar and plan to join us for an inspiring evening with like-minded people.
🥧 We’ll have good food, (a chili cook-off and you can compete), pies (please bring a favorite to share), other treats and beverages, music by Half A Mile To Mars, and lots of conversation about protecting our democracy.

Minnesota DFL Farmer Labor Picnic
You're invited to the Minnesota DFL's 2nd Annual Farmer Labor Picnic on Saturday, September 26 from 1 - 4 PM in Saint Paul! We'll be celebrating the work and workers that move Minnesota with an affordable, fun, and family-friendly event. There will be delicious food, music, inspiring speeches, and plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy. It's a chance to connect and celebrate our shared values. It is sure to be a good time!

North Branch Fall Harvest Festival
SD28 will have a booth at the Harvest Festival. If you are available to help with set up, take down or staffing the booth, please email dfl@chisago-isantidfl.com .
Shafer Parade
Here’s your opportunity to participate in 2 parades in the same day! After the Wyoming parade in the morning, have some lunch and then head on over to Shafer to line up for the parade there. Line-up begins at 3:00 and the parade starts at 3:30.
Wyoming Stage Coach Days Parade
Join us in Wyoming on September 19th for the Wyoming Stagecoach Days Parade! The Parade starts at 10:00 so come early to line up with our group. Wear your DFL or candidate gear and bring a sign if you’d like.

Join us for the August 23rd Ki-Chi-Saga Parade in Chisago City! Line-up begins at 1:00 and the parade starts at 2:00. The parade route begins at Old Towne Road and 282nd street.

Primary Elections
A primary election determines which candidates will be on the ballot in the November general election.
For example, five candidates from one political party might run for governor. Only one candidate can be on the ballot in November. The winner of the August primary election will represent their party on the November election ballot.

Picnic in the Park
Join us for a Picnic in the Park at Central Park in North branch Minnesota!
Bring your family and friends for an afternoon picnic.
This is a great chance to meet your candidates, your local DFL representatives, get to know your neighbors and share fun and good conversation. Maybe even take on one of our candidates in a corn hole match! Lawn games provided!
Stacy Daze Parade
Join us on August 1st in Stacy for the Stacy Daze Parade! You can walk or ride in the float. Show off your DFL gear or favorite candidate tee! If you don’t have a t-shirt, our candidates generally bring extras to use during the parade.
Line-up for this parade starts at 11:00 near St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (31075 Genesis Ave). The parade moves out at noon.
