Women Thinking Out Loud

Women are the center of our communities and the core of our families, and it is time that we tap into the power we have.  Women value strong families, caring for each other, health, education and safety.  These shared values often get drowned out in the dialogue that currently dominates our political sphere.

The first step to changing that is owning and proclaiming our stories.  By telling our stories, we build our community, educate each other and amplify our voices.  The next step is to vote according to our shared values, and encourage other women to do the same.  This is how we can bring change to our politics and our lives.

The women’s group meets twice a month.  Check our event calendar for information on the next meeting, and follow the group on Facebook for updates.  Visit their website for more information.
